Advancing God’s Kingdom
One of the most important parts of life is the spiritual part. What is often lost in the business world is the importance of our belief, our spiritual growth, and our spiritual goals. One action we are taking in our community right now is the addition of spiritual training in our boot camps. This is completely optional to our participants and supports our goal in improving the ethics in our industry and the quality of the experience at our boot camps. We want the business life of our participants to include the whole person and the beliefs, values, and spiritual goals of each participant.
We will also support our church as a means to interrupt factors of stress on families. We have developed a strategy of education for pastors and church planters to supplement their income to support both their ministerial works as well as their own families. This will mean that pastors will have more time to offer their services to our community as well as more means to alleviate the problems they encounter in their ministry and in their family life as well. We support this through donations to missionaries, churches, and Advancing God’s Kingdom. Our donations may take the shape of grants or of educational tools to train our church youth and pastors in financial freedom through real estate.
This project is both to support our community as well as the pastors themselves. As our pastors learn and grow in this business, we expect them to begin mentoring the youth of their churches as mentors of the YES Project as a means of both interrupting stress on families as well as offering options to kids exposed to the high risk elements of drugs, gang life and crime.
Small churches and churches just organized have a hard time paying their pastors a living wage. In addition, pastors have a hard time supporting their families and sending their children to college. We want to offer hope not only to the pastors but to their families that their needs will be met by their own effort, their own goals, their own talents and their own initiative. We do not want to create dependants but independent people in pursuit of their passion and their spiritual goals with the knowledge they have the tools, the training, and the support to take care of themselves and their families as they seek to fulfill God’s will for their lives.
